History of unix/linux.

hi friends now i am going to show you the history of unix os.
before going to the unix we need to know that what is an operating system? it is a a collection of programs which co-ordinates system hardware and software.
Features of OS :

• memory management.
• process management.
• data management.

In unix commonly we can hear 2words those are
1.kernal
2.shell
KERNAL:
vmlinuz for linux os
kernal32.dll for microsoft
SHELL:
BASH (bourne again shell) using for linux.
Default shell in unix is SH(bourne shell)

HISTORY:
1.First In1965 AT&T,GE,MITIS DEVELOPED MULTICS(multiplexed info &computing system)using 100% assembly language for developing.
2.In 1969 kenthempon & dennis ritchie is developed again and named as a unics(uniplexed info & computing system) is developed in combination of c and assembly language.
3.In1973 first time using 100% c-language based OS is developed and named as UNIX.
4.In1991 linus benedict torvalds(father of linux) was successfully interduced linux OS. using intel386 architecture.and given to the OPEN SOURCE FOUNDATION(OSF is founded by tallman).
